This is a must read article about the direction cancer research and therapy has taken since President Richard Nixon declared his war on cancer in 1971. It explains historically how we got to the "The Somatic Mutation Theory of Cancer", (the most common working theory of cancer) and how that theory has hit a wall. It then moves on step by step to explain how Metabolic Therapy is the only way to easily interpenetrate the never ending and chaotic sequencing data that they have been collecting on various cancers. It then explains in a clear and thorough manner how Metabolic Modulation is the only successful way to open new treatment options.
Even though American medicine has an ongoing love affair with Chemo its reputation in helping all cancers is undeserved. This is a very technical article. It's a Mega Data Analysis study that looked at all the chemotherapy studies from 1990 to 2004 in Australia and the United States.

Thermography has been around for many years, but studies have shown that it’s not an effective screening tool for finding breast cancer early. Although it has been promoted as helping detect breast cancer early, a 2012 research review found that thermography was able to detect only a quarter of the breast cancers found by mammography. In other words, it failed to detect 3 out of 4 cancers that were known to be present in the breast. Digital infrared thermal imaging (DITI), which some people believe is a newer and better type of thermography, has the same failure rate. This is why thermography should not be used as a substitute for mammograms.(American Cancer Society)
Optical imaging tests pass light into the breast and then measure the light that returns or passes through the tissue. The technique does not use radiation and does not require breast compression. Optical imaging might be useful at some point for detecting tumors or the blood vessels that supply them.(American Cancer Society)
